ISI's reactions and TTP Taliban indicate
behaviors consistent with a secret agreement
between ISI and the TTP branch of the Taliban
to hide Ossama Bin Laden. 

ISI took two days to respond to OBL death.
And the Taliban reaction against Pakistan
is consistent with the actions of a party
who's honor has been aggrieved in that culture. 

Obama was right on in not trusting ISI with
the operational details of OBL location.
ISI would have made short work of the 
operation and stopped it.

TTP has attacked Pakistan mil in wave after
wave of attacks across Pakistan, and their
Military has launched ZERO, none counter
strikes, just absorbed the attacks.

The Paki Mil and the ISI are afraid the TTP
will out the ISI on their operation to protect 
OBL.
The TTP Taliban even used a different sopkesperson
to announce the Karachi attack on the Military base.
Didn't trust normal channels for data.
The @alemarahweb had no advance info on
 the attack and were not even notified after the
22 hr attack was in progress, they were not allowed
to even tweet on it, and were completely cut off
from information. They only had a few tweets
in Urdu.

There  is little doubt ISI was hiding OBL.
And TTP continues to black mail ISI,
and ISI and the Military fear counterattacks
against the TTP and are just taking the hits,
and deaths of their troops.

This even raises the question about the missing
Urdu attackes that are missing in the attack on the
Paki military base, it was surrounded, even had
extra 600 special forces brought in,
and some of the attackers disappeared?

Did they blackmail their way out?
Is the TTP threatining to expose ISI
for hiding OBL?

ISI has been exposed by their actions,
inactions and the Talibans reactions to
OBL's death.


Question is will this turn ISI and the Paki
military against the TTP, or make them
better allies?


Can the Paki civil Government take control
of the Military and ISI or will they continue
to run the country as they wish.

Paki sources identified by appearance that the attackers in the photographs as being Punjabi (from NW India, E Pakistan).

Three terrorists were captured at the Taj Mahal Hotel: Ajmal Amir Kamal, a resident of Faridkot, Multan in Pakistan and two other Pujabi Pakistanis. The one Pujabi identifies himself as Salim the other refuses to identify himself. They all speak Urdu with a clear Punjabi accent.

A terrorist named Sahadullah during the Taj Mahal siege called India TV to make a statement and spoke with a clear Kashmiri accent.

They all claim to belong to Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Kamal said there were twelve of them, they had come in a merchant vessel, which dropped them at 10 miles out where they took an open fiber-glass boat to Mumbai.

Kamal is from Faridkot, Multan, Pakistan (not to be confused with Faridkot, Punjab, India).

Likely the merchant vessel sailed from Karachi, the ship has been boarded and searched.

It was actually the fishing

vessel Kuber, belonging to a fisherman from Porbander, Vinod Masani. The vessel was hijacked on the open sea on November 14th. It was discovered today moored 20 miles off Porbander and abandoned with the body of the dead captain aboard. It is suspected that the terrorists hijacked the Kuber, killed the crew except the captain who was forced to sail the boat to Mumbai, then the terrorist assault force launched the inflatable boats and the Kuber returned to waters off Porbander where the captain, Amarsing Naran was killed and the remaining terrorists left in a separate boat back to the Pakistani coast near Karachi.

Could the US Coast Guard have caught this?

It is believed that another merchant vessel was involved with the assault also.
The other vessel is the MV Alpha, a cargo trawler. It has been boarded and searched.

KARACHI: Baitullah Mehsud, the defunct Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LJ) and other outlawed jihadi organizations have prepared a joint strategy for Karachi, Daily Times learnt on Wednesday.

An intelligence agency official told Daily Times that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Chief Baitullah Mehsud has established contact with different splinter groups in Karachi.

The newly established group is currently under Raheemullah alias Naeem alias Ali Hassan, son of Wilayat Khan, of the Chakkarzai caste. He lives on Street 3, Shehzad Cinema, Qasba Colony, Orangi Town. Raheemullah, 35, usually wears a Sindhi cap and was affiliated with the LJ and Harkatul Mujahideen.

It has recently been revealed that Raheemullah led various terrorist activities in Karachi, including those behind the assassination of Shia scholar and MMA Sindh leader Allama Hassan Turabi. Raheemullah dropped the suicide bomber, Karim, to the spot chosen for the attack. He was also involved in the suicide blast at Nishtar Park, which claimed several lives. The sources said that the law enforcement agencies have arrested several members his group, Sultan Mehmood, Mufti Zakir and others.

However, other members of the group are still at large and are now planning to sabotage the network of the group cracking down on terrorist groups. Daily Times learnt that Raheemullah established contact with Baitullah Mehsud and took on many Karachi-based activists, including Qari Abid Mehsud, Khalid Dare Walla, Mufti Ilyas, Colonel Tufaan, Qari Hussain Mehsud, Abdul Wahad Mehsud of Kunwari Colony in Metroville and Faizullah Mehsud, a resident of Sohrab Goth, as his associates. Qari Hussain Mehsud recently joined the group to provide suicide bombers and Abdul Wahab Mehsud is now running a training camp at Badar, a remote area in Afghanistan. faraz khan.

Karachi, a beggar's paradise, continues to provide for many

KARACHI: Professional beggars, mostly women and children, can be seen in the streets and shopping centers of Karachi throughout the year but their number increases greatly in the holy month of Ramazan.

There are 360 beggar families, called Badree, permanently settled in Jamshed Town in Chanesar Goth. The Badree community, whose prime business is beggary and prostitution, can also be found in Quetta and Rohri. Moreover, there are more than 250 huts of another group of beggars, commonly known as 'Mangarr' (Seraiki for beggar), set up on encroached land opposite the University of Karachi.

There are around 60 Burmese and Bengali colonies in the city, with a population of approximately 1.5 million. The colonies are spread from Machhar Colony to Ibrahim Hyderi, Teen Hatti to Orangi Town and Korangi to 100 Quarters. A majority of these people are linked to the fishery and textile industry but when unemployed, they resort to begging, mostly in the vicinity of Jama Cloth Market and the various shrines of the city, including the shrines of Abdullah Shah Ghazi and Alam Shah. Other areas frequented by the residents of these colonies include Super Market, Clifton, Hyderi Market, North Nazimabad, Ayesha Manzil, Water Pump in Federal B Area and Abul Hassan Esphahani Road in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

To make matters worse, a good number of Afghan immigrants have settled around Sohrab Goth, Nusrat Bhutto Colony, Banaras Chowk, Landhi Fisher Colony, Shireen Jinnah Colony, Khurkar Chowrangi and Abdullah Shah Ghazi's tomb. Talking to Daily Times, Initiator Human Development Foundation (IHDF) President Rana Asif Habib said that normally there are around 100,000 beggars in the city but during Ramazan, the average number of beggars surpasses one million.

A majority of the beggars hail from Southern Punjab, including Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Khanpur Katora, Bahawalpur and Sadiqabad. These beggars who have occupied areas from NIPA Chowrangi to Hassan Square in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town are covertly involved in prostitution as well. The beggars operate in an organized manner and have lords who shelter them from the police and government authorities. For example, Bada Babu is in charge of the beggars of Burns Road, while Chota Multani and Arshad Gujranwalia are in charge of other areas.

According to Habib, Essa Nagri is the beauty parlor of beggars. Make-up experts prepare children and women with burnt faces and other deformities, helping them earn around Rs 2,000 a day. "These beggars are also involved in child abduction, as are the snake charmers of Manghopir. Hijrat Colony and Sultanabad are the areas where infants are hired on a daily basis by women. Each infant is hired for Rs 500 daily and enables the women to easily make around Rs 1,500 to 2,000 daily," he added.

Furthermore, sale of women is also a thriving business in Machhar Colony. Recently, Tufail alias Kulli's mother and sister were sold to Imam Mooli of the Qazi Ahmed area in Nawabshah for Rs 50,000. Mooli had bought them to work at his cattle yard but married Tufail's mother, with Nanoo Dallal preparing their Nikah papers for Rs 10,000. "Although, Tufail's mother escaped and returned to Machhar Colony but her daughter is still with Mooli," said Habib.

The beggarwomen of Essa Nagri also sell their sons to public transport drivers for around Rs 300 to Rs 500 for a night. These sodomites are provided with rooms and normally, four to five drivers and conductors use the child for the whole night, distributing the expenses equally. It is also a well known fact that the beggars and the area police share an understanding, with the SHO's agent collecting around Rs 300 to Rs 500 daily. Areas are auctioned and beggars from other areas are banned from entering the areas of other beggars and in case any outsider is found, he or she is handed over to the police.

According to Ansar Burney Welfare Trust (ABWT) Vice Chairman Sarim Burney, beggary has become an international issue today. "Human traffickers are engaged in sending poor and crippled people to Middle East countries, promising them high incomes. ABWT has brought back many children from Saudi Arabia, including a 12-year-old girl, S, of Rahim Yar Khan. She was sent to Saudi Arabia and was told to sit outside a mosque and beg for charity," said Burney.

Similarly, Asad, a handicapped boy, was also sent to Saudi Arabia and forced to beg outside a mosque. Though, he earned around 250 to 350 Saudi Riyals per day, the agents did not give a single penny to Asad's family. ABWT has provided the boy with a three-wheeler and helped him set up a public call office (PCO) in the vicinity of the city courts.

"Begging is an easy source of income and so eunuchs have also pounded the city. Basically, it is the duty of government to take concrete steps for the eradication of this social evil. Those who give these beggars money are unintentionally promoting beggary," commented Burney. A professional beggar told Daily Times that he gets between Rs 800 to 2,000 per day. "Public transport is one of the best places, as women are easily motivated to donate. The only condition that the transporters have is that the beggars should come across as a cleric or a student of a religious seminary," he said.

Recently, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan had planned an eradication drive and was also looking to set up reform schools for beggars in Ojha Medical Centre.

In an interview to a foreign radio, he said Karachi is a focal point for the whole world including India. The presence of Taliban in Karachi will ensure elimination of vulgarity, obscenity and influence of foreign forces in the city. Taliban can take control of Karachi anytime: TTP

KHAR: The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) warned Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday to "immediately end his kingdom in Karachi", saying the time was ripe for the Taliban to gain control of the city.

"This is a warning for Altaf Hussain to cease his statements against the Taliban and end his kingdom in Karachi, otherwise we will launch attacks against the MQM and its leaders once we are given the go-ahead by Baitullah Mehsud," TTP chief Maulana Faqeer Muhammad and spokesman Maulvi Umar told a joint press conference at Inayat Kalay. According to Online, Umar boasted that the Taliban had 'massive' support of Karachi's residents and Mehsud could take control of the city whenever he wanted to.

The spokesmen said the TTP was "prepared to wage jihad to counter United States and NATO forces in the Tribal Areas" and had established anti-aircraft "missile systems" along the Pak-Afghan border for this purpose.

Militant action: The TTP spokesmen also warned that they would instigate militant action across the country if the government did not stop the ongoing military operation in Swat and continued to pursue a military option in the Tribal Areas.

Umar said that, on the directives of Baitullah Mehsud, the TTP had convened special meetings of Taliban commanders to design a strategy against the government if the military operations continued. He said that the organisation had given a "positive response" to the government's proposals for peace. However, he added, neither the federal nor the provincial government had stood by their promises to continue dialogue with the Taliban to maintain law and order. Umar said that the TTP had established a special squad, comprised of a large number of male and female suicide bombers aged between 10 and 20, to target top government officials.

Posters slamming ‘Talibanisation’ appear in Karachi areas

LAHORE: Hundreds of posters condemning the Talibanisation in Karachi were seen on walls across the provincial capital on Saturday, a satellite channel reported.

The posters contained gruesome images of severed heads and mutilated limbs, Dawn News reported, adding that most of the posters were found in North Karachi, New Karachi, North Nazimabad and Gul Baharabad areas of country’s financial hub. The posters put on walls by ‘citizens of Karachi’ did not contain the name of any organisation or group, the channel added, saying that the posters had sparked a debate about the threat of Talibanisation in Karachi.

MQM, ANP: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Raza Haroon said Karachi was facing the threat of Talibanisation. He added that various reports of threats to truck drivers supplying oil to NATO forces in Afghanistan had been received. The Awami National Party (ANP) however denied that there existed any tangible threat to the city. ANP leader Amin Khattak said the Taliban would be exposed if they were present in the city.

Anyone with has any information about the Taliban should contact the government, he said. According to Geo News, the Investigation committee from the MQM believed an increase in Talibanisation had occurred in Karachi. Influential elements from the establishment were involved in conspiracies against the city, the committee said.A statement issued by the MQM Co-ordination Committee said MQM chief Altaf Hussain had warned the administration about the growing threat of extremism in the city. The committee claimed that wife of former Lal Masjid cleric Abdul Aziz, Umme Hassan, visited Karachi on July31 and distributed certificates among students of jihadi seminaries urging them to participate in jihad.

Police marksmen will take positions on rooftops and flyovers, while bomb disposal squads are sweeping the former premier’s route on her planned 18-hour procession from Karachi airport to the mausoleum of Pakistan’s founder. “The threat of suicide bombing is there. There are two or three groups of suicide bombers operating in Karachi, according to intelligence reports,” Sindh province home secretary Ghulam Mohamed Mohtarram said. The groups were linked to Osama bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda network, Afghanistan’s hardline Taliban militia and a Pakistani pro-Taliban militant leader who has reportedly threatened to “welcome” Bhutto with suicide bombers, he said. “Whatever we can do we will do for the protection of Benazir Bhutto. The person of Benazir Bhutto will be covered. But it will be very difficult to prevent such bombings if they happen in the mob,” he said. Her Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), however, said it expected that Bhutto would in fact be protected by the 1mn supporters it estimates will flood the streets on her homecoming. “It’s a mixture of our own diehard supporters who will be surrounding her to keep her safe, and the administration, which has promised foolproof security,” Senator Safdar Abbasi, a PPP central executive committee member, said. “Threats do exist,” he added. Bhutto will be behind bullet-proof screens as she rides a specially modified 20-foot shipping container attached to the back of a lorry through the teeming city, police and her party said. Up to 20,000 police and paramilitary troops will be deployed for her arrival - 8,000 to 10,000 on the route itself and another 10,000 elsewhere in Karachi, a top city police official said.
