Al-Qaeda pays tribute to Ghazi Abdul Rasheed

KARACHI: Over the completion of one year of Lal Masjid tragedy, Al-Qaeda in a video tape released in Urdu language for the first time has condemned the operation and paid tribute to Ghazi Abdul Rasheed and his comrades.

Abdul Rashid Ghazi (Urdu: عبدالرشید غازی; ca. 1964−July 10, 2007)[1] was a Pakistani Muslim cleric, son of Maulana Muhammad Abdullah and younger brother of Abdul Aziz Ghazi. He was descended from the Sadwani clan of Mazari tribe in the town of Rojhan at the border of southern Punjab and Balochistan.[2]

Abdul Rashid Ghazi was killed in "intense crossfire" after Pakistani troops stormed the building he and his militants had been using. He is buried at Madrassah Abdullah, Basti Abdullah near Rojhan Mazari in Central Pakistan.[citation needed]

Abdul Rashid Ghazi vowed to die in his Islamabad mosque rather than surrender - a pledge he kept when he was cut down in intense crossfire after troops stormed the building. Since the mosque came under siege a week before, Ghazi repeatedly said that he would rather be "martyred" than give in to the government........ he and his brother became leaders of Jamia Hafsa and Jamia Faridia madrassas.

4th of July, clear message, clear paradigm.

4th of July, clear message, clear paradigm.

    Clear message: Clear Paradigm.

USA has sent a clear message to the world.

Attacks on USA have resulted in the use of Nuclear weapons. ( Japan WW II )

Attacks on USA has resulted in the seizure by force of arms the country where that attacks originated from. And driving them out or killing those involved in the attack and those supporting them. ( Al Qaeda and the Taliban.)

And seizure by force of arms the most powerful and aggressive country in the Middle East, Iraq, ( Iran knows this first hand. Iran fought Iraq to a stand still over 7 years. USA took Kuwait back from Iraq in 100 hours )

In all these cases the USA believes in the goodness of the average Moslem citizen in these countrys, and allowed the people to form new governments and elect new leaders.
al Qaeda and the Taliban are attempting to steal these countrys back from the Umma.
USA seized and kept nothing, All the oil is sold on the open market which OPEC controls.
USA did not export the oil to the USA as spoils of war. They have the power to do so by force of arms.

The 911 attack sprung from the loins of Islam, Bin Laden says so, he claims Allah as authority..
    "Allah Bless al Qaeda".

Allah has forsaken Bin Laden. By the will of Allah; Bin Laden has a liver disease and lives in the shade of continued failures, hiding in fear of daylight.

Bin Laden has killed more Moslems than an other country in history.
    Bin Laden is to Moslems
    what
    Hitler was to the Jews.

Bin Laden kills Moslems, women, children, bombs Mosques and Market places,
    and kill their own.

Bin Laden is in egregious violation of the Koran, Bible, and assaulting Islamic civilizations and countrys.

Islam shames its self as they have given tacit approval, and financial aid to Bin Laden's evil movement. Bin Laden is Islam's Spawn and Islam has a responsibility to end Bin Laden, et al.

USA will hunt al Qeda till they are all dead, will spend it's self into a recession or even depression to hunt and kill al Qaeda, or anyone who attacks USA.

al Qaeda will be hunted and killed through all time, all locations, with all weapons.
There is only temporary respite till USA has al Qeda in its sights again.

Islamic redemption lies in Moslem's taking out Bin Laden,
The Arabs and Islam should have their own hit squad hunting Bin Laden.
Where are the Arab teams of assassins hunting this Satan?
Where are the Islamic Armys hunting Bin Laden?
Allah is watching. Why is Bin Laden still alive? Z?

We know the Taliban Caliphate, we have seen it, its totalitarian an attemp at moving Islamic civilization back to the stone ages.
Taliban have no honor, they have history of selling out thier own.

    Bin Laden,
Spawn of Satan, shame of Islam.

    Do a good deed.
( Allah said : (Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion -the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.) 55,AlNOOR. )

    USA's message is clear.
    Islam's messaged is muddied.

I remember the USA General taking to tribes in Iraq,
" I come to you with tears in my eyes and no artillery,
    to work together,
but you Fuck with me and i'll kill you all."

Attack USA and you and your country, supporters will be hunted unto death for all time.

Allah has willed it. IT IS SO. look.

Mysterious explosion at Iranian military facility

    DEBKAfile Special Report

    June 30, 2008, 6:45 PM (GMT+02:00)

DEBKAfile’s Iranian sources report that an explosion Monday, June 30, at Bidganeh near the town of Shahriar 40 kilometers east of Tehran occurred at a military installation, not a civilian building as Tehran claimed.

At first, the Iranian authorities reported 15 people were killed, correcting this later to no casualties. The precise function of the targeted facility is not known. While Iran claimed the blast was caused by a gas leak, Western military sources are skeptical and believe the authorities are trying to cover up some sort of sabotage.

More Evidence of the Criminal-Terrorist Nexus

    By Douglas Farah

Those who are skeptical of the growing ties between drug trafficking organizations and terrorist groups-which I think will be the real war we will be fighting for many years, given the resources obtainable by drug trafficking organizations-should read the latest UN Office of Drugs and Crime report.

Among the many interesting findings is that the two areas of greatest increase in illicit production of drugs in the world are in the hands of designated terrorist groups: the Taliban in Afghanistan and the FARC in Colombia.

A third party involved in the expansion of drug production is Burma, a rogue criminal state. This bodes ill for the rest of the world.

As Antonio Maria Costa, director of the agency, told the AP:

"The explosion of narcotics in those areas is explained by their presence (the terrorist groups) and the protection they offer," Costa told The Associated Press in an interview Wednesday.

"I believe that slowly these people, although politically motivated at the beginning, are becoming a kind of organized crime," he said. "Money tends to stick to fingers, and a big lump of money becomes very problematic."

The numbers should alarm policy makers and the intelligence and law enforcement communities. My full blog is here.

    Al-Qaeda's Growing Online Offensive

Posted by Soulskill on Sunday June 29, @09:54AM
    from the propaganda-made-easier dept.
andy1307 brings us a story from the Washington Post about al-Qaeda's technological capabilities and the methods they use to protect themselves and their networks from opposing military forces. Quoting: "U.S. and European intelligence officials attribute the al-Qaeda propaganda boom in part to the network's ability to establish a secure base in the ungoverned tribal areas of western Pakistan. Analysts said that as-Sahab (AQ's propaganda network) is outfitted with some of the best technology available. Editors and producers use ultralight Sony Vaio laptops and top-end video cameras. Files are protected using PGP, or Pretty Good Privacy, a virtually unbreakable form of encryption software that is also used by intelligence agencies around the world. [Al-Fajr, a propaganda distribution network] is heavily decentralized, with its webmasters generally unaware of one another's true identities for security reasons, intelligence analysts said. It also has separate 'brigades' devoted to hacking, multimedia, cybersecurity and distribution."

Three top US agencies involved in Waziristan operations: New Yorker

    * Report says Abu Laith al-Libi was one of most prominent victims of programme

    By Khalid Hasan

WASHINGTON: Three of the top United States clandestine agencies, along with US Special Forces and Pakistani intelligence outfits, are targeting the Taliban leadership in Waziristan, according to a report published here.

The exclusive report in the New Yorker by Seymour Hersch says that the programme is being executed by professionals from the National Security Agency, the CIA and the Defence Intelligence Agency, who are "right in there with the Special Forces and Pakistani intelligence, and they're dealing with serious bad guys". A source told the American investigative reporter: "We have to be really careful in calling in the missiles. We have to hit certain houses at certain times. The people on the ground are watching through binoculars a few hundred yards away and calling specific locations, in latitude and longitude. We keep the Predator loitering until the targets go into a house, and we have to make sure our guys are far enough away so they don't get hit."

Prominent victim: One of the most prominent victims of the programme, a former official said, was Abu Laith al-Libi, a senior Taliban commander who was killed on January 31, reportedly in a missile strike that also killed 11 other people. The Washington Post reported on March 26 on the increasing number of successful strikes against Taliban and other insurgent units in Pakistan's Tribal Areas. A follow-up article noted that, in response, the Taliban had killed "dozens of people" suspected of providing information to the US and its allies on the whereabouts of Taliban leaders. Many of the victims were thought to be American spies, and their executions — a beheading, in one case — were videotaped and distributed by DVD as a warning to others.

Another ex-US intelligence official, commenting on the US attempting something similar in Iran, warned, "It's one thing to engage in selective strikes and assassinations in Waziristan and another in Iran. The White House believes that one size fits all, but the legal issues surrounding extrajudicial killings in Waziristan are less of a problem because Al Qaeda and the Taliban cross the border into Afghanistan and back again, often with US and NATO forces in hot pursuit. The situation is not nearly as clear in the Iranian case. All the considerations — judicial, strategic, and political — are different in Iran."

    Taliban ousted from Khyber Pass

Pakistani troops last night ousted Islamic militants from strongholds near the Khyber Pass, the main supply route for British troops in Afghanistan, a day after the government launched a major offensive.

The operation was the first by the new government of Pakistan since it defeated allies of President Pervez Musharraf in elections in February and then began controversial peace talks with the Taliban.

"It has been a successful operation. No collateral damage has been reported. The writ of the government has been established," said Rehman Malik, Pakistan's Interior Ministry chief.

Mr Malik said the operation had safeguarded the main northwestern city of Peshawar from Islamist vigilantes who have terrorised local residents and also raided trucks carrying supplies for Nato and US forces across the border.

Black flags over Bara town signal militant support
BARA (June 30 2008): Black flags with a sword emblazoned across them were flying above many of the mud-walled homes in the town of Bara on Sunday in a show of support for a militant who government forces are out to get.

The flags were those of the Lashkar-i-Islami, or Army of Islam in north-west Pakistan's Khyber region, a wedge of tan-coloured mountains speckled with small trees sandwiched between the city of Peshawar and the Afghan border.

Security forces launched an offensive on Saturday to push members of the militant group, led by a commander called Mangal Bagh, from the approaches of Peshawar after Bagh's men began making forages into the city to impose their Taliban-style ways.

A former bus driver with little education, Bagh, who is in his mid-40s, appears to have won support the same way the Afghan Taliban did when they emerged in the early 1990s and sorted out war lords and criminals preying on the people.

"He brought peace and got rid of the criminals in our area. He's good for us," Mehboob said.

Bara was peaceful on Sunday with a surprisingly light security presence. Despite a curfew, some people were out in its main market although most stalls were shut.

There was no evidence of any militants and no one was seen carrying a gun in a region where most men own a rifle. Some soldiers drove around in double-cabin pick-up trucks and a few armoured personnel carriers patrolled the dusty streets but security forces made no effort to stop curious residents going out to see the ruins of Bagh's office and a four-room mud house, both near the market, that soldiers blew up on Saturday.

A senior government official said there had been no violence in the area since Saturday evening and a Reuters reporter heard no gun shots or explosions in Bara or along the lightly guarded road from Peshawar. Among those out on the streets was Bagh's older brother, the grey-bearded Soocha Gul, who is in his early 50s. "It's a shame, barbaric," an angry Gul said of the destruction of his brother's buildings.

"They came suddenly, asked us to vacate the house immediately and then blew it up. What crime did our women and children commit?" he asked. Bagh's militants are not allied with the main Pakistani Taliban group and they have not been known to head off to Afghanistan to fight Western troops there.

    Taliban take over?

    Army and the Taliban takeover

President Pervez Musharraf's meeting with COAS Gen Ashfaq Kayani on Friday hinted at how the government is positioning itself on the question of the threatened takeover of the NWFP by the Taliban. The presidential statement issued publicly said that "religious extremism and terrorist violence must be combated with full force and all resources available". However, to this obviously unexceptionable statement, a statement from the COAS explained that "I will act on the decision of the government". Gen Kayani did not admit that a go-ahead had been given to him by Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, making him the "principal" with powers to decide action in the areas threatened by Taliban violence.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) spokesman keeps saying the army is ready for action against the mounting threat in the NWFP, but it seems that the army is only "ready" for a specific order from the civilian government to proceed. But that doesn't seem to be coming. Even as the warlords from outside Peshawar gradually take over the city through their armed warriors, the ANP government continues to hug the peace deals that already lie in tatters in Swat. And the killing of two persons closely related to the PPP leaders of Swat is sending an ominous political message to the coalition in Peshawar.

The ANP insists it is making headway with the killers, but has asked the frontier constabulary to guard its police from being annihilated by the warlords who increasingly rule the administered districts of the province. If it doesn't take a clear line on what it is going to do about the killing of innocent people under its jurisdiction, it will start looking as ambiguous as the political parties in Balochistan, shunning violence but feeling soft towards Baloch separatism.

The federal government has turned its face away from the trouble in the Tribal Areas and the NWFP by approaching the United Nations for an inquiry into the death of the PPP leader Ms Benazir Bhutto "because another state is involved in the assassination". Even the TV personality, the fiery Zaid Zaman, who lambastes the US and sees all kinds of American and Jewish conspiracies behind political events, was blunt in his assertion that Baitullah Mehsud had ordered her assassination.

Munich: Al-Qaeda and Taliban forces in Pakistan's northwest frontier region pose a direct threat to the Islamabad government, US Defence Secretary Robert Gates warned in Munich on Sunday.

The presence of the Islamic extremists in the tribal region is not just "a nuisance" to Pakistan, but "is potentially a threat to their government," Gates told an international security conference in this southern German city.
