Paki sources identified by appearance that the attackers in the photographs as being Punjabi (from NW India, E Pakistan).

Three terrorists were captured at the Taj Mahal Hotel: Ajmal Amir Kamal, a resident of Faridkot, Multan in Pakistan and two other Pujabi Pakistanis. The one Pujabi identifies himself as Salim the other refuses to identify himself. They all speak Urdu with a clear Punjabi accent.

A terrorist named Sahadullah during the Taj Mahal siege called India TV to make a statement and spoke with a clear Kashmiri accent.

They all claim to belong to Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Kamal said there were twelve of them, they had come in a merchant vessel, which dropped them at 10 miles out where they took an open fiber-glass boat to Mumbai.

Kamal is from Faridkot, Multan, Pakistan (not to be confused with Faridkot, Punjab, India).

Likely the merchant vessel sailed from Karachi, the ship has been boarded and searched.

We are seeking a time line of the attacks in the ( at least 10 ) locations to see if 12 men could have carried this out, reply in comment please. G

It was actually the fishing

vessel Kuber, belonging to a fisherman from Porbander, Vinod Masani. The vessel was hijacked on the open sea on November 14th. It was discovered today moored 20 miles off Porbander and abandoned with the body of the dead captain aboard. It is suspected that the terrorists hijacked the Kuber, killed the crew except the captain who was forced to sail the boat to Mumbai, then the terrorist assault force launched the inflatable boats and the Kuber returned to waters off Porbander where the captain, Amarsing Naran was killed and the remaining terrorists left in a separate boat back to the Pakistani coast near Karachi.

Could the US Coast Guard have caught this?

It is believed that another merchant vessel was involved with the assault also.
The other vessel is the MV Alpha, a cargo trawler. It has been boarded and searched.

where cadre congregate.Vetting on the Internet has

some major obstacles, and remains

one of their weakest links.

Humint, moles remain very difficult to place and is a

time consuming process. But is achievable.

The terrorist media experts remain a valuable

commodity, and are hard to recruit.

Their most recent efforts are a far cry from their

hayday of professional productions.

They have been relegated to mostly audio tapes

with still photographs. And their Info war has been off

target and missing their key demographic.

By combining their webmaster cyber workers it make

them more vulnerable but still able to produce

propaganda, even as they limp along.

The WWW has become the Terrorist Achilles Heel.

The most recent video about the new American

president Big Z refers to the president as a house

negro shows the influence of Adam Gadahn,

and his racisist leanings.

The most recent ad for big Z's video shows the

pressure they are operating under. HERE.

We have lines on most of the terrorist webmasters,

and its just a matter of time before most of them are

taken out.

Some of the webmasters are considering switching

sides because of al Qaeda's use of suicide bombers,

and killing Moslems.

And the Talibans resistance to peace talks with the

current government.

Key cyber players switching sides can play a big roll in

stabilizing "STAN"

AND BRINGING THE VIOLENCE TO AN END.

USA wants al Qaeda, not the Taliban.

And the Taliban are suffering the drone attacks

because of al Qaeda.

Is USA prepared?
This opens a new page in terrorist attacks, a new paradigm.
Who would respond to an attack by a highly trained Military infantry unit from Pakistan, against unprotected, unarmed civilian targets?
This attack took weeks of recon, surveillance and planing.
This is new threat : Its like sending a US Marine Company in to attack
civilian hotels in a major US city. Unexpected, over whelming sneak attack
and beheading the counter terrorism forces.

The terrorist were wearing uniforms, and equipped almost as a heavy weapons squad.
With Machine guns and grenades, and explosives devices.
They decapitated the head of the anti terrorism unit for India.
As it turns out they were a soft target.

The Indian military have seized the ship they came from.

There maybe more surprises in store yet, hostages, and sleeper units?

Is a Swat team equipped to take on a Infantry heavy weapons squad?
I don't think so.

What US military units are equipped to take on such a team?
Where are they located, National guard units?
How long would it take to activate and deploy them?
Is New York's Hercules teams, even have the fire power
and numbers to handle this type of multiple attack?

railway Station, the Cafés and more locations. , a hospital and a highway leading to the airport and Assembly Hall. The terrorists fired indiscriminately against civilians, security elements, lobbed grenades.

The primary targets were American and British.

This is a survival move for the al Qaeda/Taliban combine.
A counter strike for the devastating predator drone attacks.

First-hand accounts of the deadly Mumbai attacks are pouring in on Twitter, Flickr, and other social media.

Twitter has fresh news every few seconds, on Mumbai, Bombay,#Mumbai, and @BreakingNewz.

"Hospital update. Shots still being fired. Also Metro cinema next door," tweets mumbaiattack. "Blood needed at JJ hospital," addsaeropolowoman, supplying the numbers for the blood bank.

A Google map of the attacks has already been set up. So has ashockingly-current Wikipedia page, which features a picture of one of the gun-toting attackers.

The local bloggers at Metblogs Mumbai have new updates every couple of minutes. So do the folks at GroundReport. Dozens of videos have been uploaded to YouTube. But the most remarkable citizen journalism may be coming from "Vinu," who is posting a stream of harrowing post-attack pictures to Flickr.

Germany arrests 3 terror suspects

BERLIN: Two German citizens suspected of distributing propaganda over the Internet supporting al-Qaida and other terrorist organizations were arrested Tuesday, German prosecutors said.
The men — identified only as Daniel P., 26 and Harun Can A., 23 — were among eight suspects whose homes were raided on Tuesday, federal prosecutors said in a statement.
A 19-year-old German citizen identified as Irfan P. was already in custody on separate charges before the morning raids in cities including Augsburg, Duesseldorf and Bremen, where investigators combed through the suspects' computer equipment.

I watched Fed Reserve's Paulson on cable this AM.

and was not reassured.

His stturrerings were those of someone not sure of what he was doing.

Of someone making excuses.

The Feds are finally getting around to buying up some of the Toxic paper,

after throwing Trillions of Dollars at those that have caused the problem, Banks 

bailing out the perps..

He admits failure as AAA paper can't find a market.

And makes excuses about the credit markets still being froozen.

And responds to a question about thier failure to un freeze credit markets with,

"yes ( failure ) if you expected one piece of legistation to fix the problem."

One piece of legistation with 7 Trilluion dollars, I think we could expect improvement

with the spending of 7 Trillion dollars.

The underlying problem STILL IS the toxic paper,

After bailing out the perps of criminal enterprise that caused this ( Banking Corps )

they are finally gettong around to buying up the root cause of the problem, the Toxic

sub-prime paper.

Paulson seems to think that if the Government guarntees a quarter is worth a dollar that

should fix the market, but the banks aren't buying it, a quarter is only worth a quarter no

matter who guarntees it. and his approach of Government guarntees just doesn't

provide confidence to the market and banks are not un-freezing the credit markets.

A "guarantee" will not provide confidence, buying the toxic paper and Marking all toxic paper

to the market will provide confidence, then the investors are dealing with real values.

The credit markets will not unfreeze untill all paper has been marked to the market,

when investors are dealing with real prices, money will flow.

Paulson still has not fixed the log jam, and seems is not the River Driver needed to

do the hard work of accurately valuing assets.

The system has been bouyed with 7 Trillion dollars and should be able to with stand the

shock of actual values ( marked to the market ).

Time is running out support levels for the Dow are almost non-existant.

This is going to be a hard difficult and deep depression, the sooner it starts

the sooner it will be over.

Mark money markets and sub-prime paper to the market and the money will flow.

Its time to stop hiding the wounds and extent of the disease.

Credit will open with real values.

Taliban missing Paradigm

The Taliban are missing part of the war Paradigm.

We have been involoved in the exchange of some 

emails with the Taliban. A participant observation, 

exploring cultural views and opinions about the war.

The brief exchanges have been very secret and 

enlightining,

Internet savy and well educated, their responses 

have been well thought out and logical.

One of our key observations has been about the 

view of the War paradigm in Afghan.

I explained my view of the war paradigm, which I 

have covered in earlier posts.

In Afghan and Pakistan the USA is sending the 

world a message.

"Attack the USA home land and the US military 

will seek you out any where in the world, follow 

the attackers to hell and back and spend 

themselves into a Depression to get the attackers."

They won't quit.

It will not end till USA has Binny and Big Z.

And by the same token the Taliban was not the 

target. al Qaeda is the target,

The Taliban became the target when they started

sheilding/protecting al Qaeda .

The ENTIRE world is tired of the GWOT.

Both sides. But the USA war machine is becoming

more focused on Afghan and Paki.

al Qaeda's goals are global, 

the Talibans goals are NOT global.

It has sounded to me in the press that if the Taliban

gave up al Qaeda, Binny and Big Z, the USA would 

have little interest in the Taliban.

The Taliban did not attack USA on 911, al Qaeda 

did. The Taliban understand

the concept of revenge.

Turning over Binny and big Z or even just their 

locations could be a BIG step in reducing

USA troops in STAN.

The Taliban were surprised at this concept.

At the Pentagon, meanwhile, it is not clear how a virus got into the Department of Defense's (DoD) systems, even though its computer network is probed by outsiders millions of times daily, DoD spokesperson Lt. Col. Eric Butterbaugh said in an e-mail to InternetNews.com.

"We are aware of a global virus for which there are recent public alerts," Butterbaugh said. "We have seen some of this on our networks, and are taking steps to identify and mitigate the virus." He declined to discuss the problem in detail, which has resulted in the Pentagon banning the use of removable media. He also declined to comment on specific defensive measures the DoD has in place or plans to take in response to the virus.......

The Pentagon, meanwhile, has been forced to ban the use of removable media such as USB flash drives after its networks were hit by an unspecified virus.....

Of course, malware is a persistent threat even for the most heavily protected networks -- one package, the Sinowal Trojan, has been around for three years and is particularly difficult to detect and defend against.

Paradigm Intel indicates the DOD thinks it got on its system from removable data.

This assumption may not be correct.

Internt anti-virus companys themselves are contributing to the problem,

Some Security suites provide very little protection from Trojans or some vectors

for infection, the entire Internet Security Industry is in disaray.

Now one needs sweepers for malware, sweepers for rootkits, black lists for SLQ injection,

keylogger blocks, Bot trackers, Firewalls, anti-virus, process guards, and another half dozen security programs to even feel secure.

And still they get through, these are not uberhackers, but random drive by attacks.

Even the biggest sites are not 100% safe, Google whos security I think is outstanding

can infect your computer with just a visit, SLQ injection etc.

As the Internet ages security has gotten worse not better..

The Paradigm for this Internet security problem has always been lagging.

The first efforts at making the Internet or WWW was focused on just making it work.

That concept continues with new products developed today, security for new applications

is an after thought, USA needs a mahatten type project to find a way to secure computers and

the Internet. It just isn't getting enough research money.

And the Bad guys find a way to get paid everyting they find an exploit.

With the Criminal and Terrorist vectors crossing this is going to be an IMPERATIVE.
