The paradigm for the troops in Iraq was faulty.

4 of them have been charged with killing some

prisoners/ terrorists.

What they have been accused of doing is wrong,

and was against the law. No disagreement.

Now for the punishment.

I hope they look at the actions in context.

USA hires and trains the troops to be problem

solvers to think outside the box, especially when

it comes to saving American troopers lives, stopping

unnecessary deaths.

And they worked out a solution to the faulty

paradigm that was threatening their lives and

the lives of their troops/friends and killing US troopers.

The bad guys would get caught, (the guys

trying to kill them, and did kill some of the

USA troops), and would later be turned loose

to attack the same troops again.

Stupid double and triple jeopardy.

Paradigm Intel says, they started to arrest

and hold all the enemy personnel that

were captured.

And a few got a Lawyer, and got off,

then everyone was getting off on

a 'criminal logic' during 'war time' action..

And JAG determined they need evidence

to fight the lawyers in criminal courts.

And the Military trained the troops to

collect evidence, TRAINING: a 15 min. power point.

END OF TRAINING.

That is the context.

The Troops determined the same guys

were being released to attack them

over and over.

And they stepped outside the box,

and stopped them from attacking

them again. They shot them.

WERE THEY RIGHT?

Were the guys they shot

the enemy that was attacking them?

I think that doesn't make a difference

about guilt, but should make a difference

in the punishment phase.

The WAR paradigm changed on the troops.

They were poorly trained in a work around

to fix the broken paradigm.

And came up with an effective but wrong

method to fix the broken paradigm,

to save the lives of US troops, as a last resort.

The Military leadership knew the paradigm

was broken and were working on fixes.

But the Military leadership bears some

responsibility for putting the troops in

a reoccurring life threatening situation

from the same people the troops

kept arresting and turning over to

the authorities who then released the

terrorists, AGAIN.

Lets see if JAG has their heads up their

asses on this one too.

Maybe an Award? NAMES?

Yes, JAG is an expert on law,

But I'm not so sure how good

JAG is on handing out JUSTICE.

Public Opinion Monitoring and Control System of Public Security Department of Guangdong Province

Project Background:

This system is used for monitoring and controlling public opinion (mainly on news sites and forums) in websites in Guangdong province. It detects sensitive terms and will subsequently inform the relevant personnel.

Project Description:

The customer installed three servers for this project, grabbing and monitoring over one million pages per day, supporting multiple users. Each user can set up different monitoring phrases and keywords; the results will be shown in a spreadsheet or emails to relevant personnel. The system will keep data history for two months. The designed capacity is thirty million, can be used by more than one hundred users, and can search and produce statistics according to IP addresses.

Currently the system is running stably, generating public opinion briefs everyday for relevant departments and personnel to read.

Three Navy SEALs are facing court-martial for allegedly assaulting and mishandling a detainee they captured in Iraq in September, military officials said.

The three SEALs — Special Warfare Operators 2nd Class Matthew McCabe and Jonathan Keefe, and SO1 Julio Huertas — will be arraigned Dec. 7 in a military court in Norfolk, Va., said Army Lt. Col. Holly Silkman, a spokeswoman with U.S. Special Operations Command Central.

Neal Puckett, a defense attorney who is representing McCabe, said the SEALs are being essentially charged for allegedly giving the detainee “a punch in the gut.”

One defense attorney said they had refused to accept nonjudicial punishment, administrative actions that some in the military may consider as a admission of guilt.

Cmdr. Greg Geisen, a Naval Special Warfare Command spokesman in Coronado, Calif., referred all questions about the charges to SOCCent.SOURCE nAVY tIMES.

Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.

Now, instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers.

Matthew McCabe, a Special Operations Petty Officer Second Class (SO-2), is facing three charges: dereliction of performance of duty for willfully failing to safeguard a detainee, making a false official statement, and assault.

Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe, SO-2, is facing charges of dereliction of performance of duty and making a false official statement.

Petty Officer Julio Huertas, SO-1, faces those same charges and an additional charge of impediment of an investigation.

Is he talking about the Iran that :

Iran continues to arm rogue regimes and terrorist groups in blatant violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1747. Such aggressive behavior on the part of Iran in support of terrorist groups and rogue regimes highlights a critical shortcoming of current international sanctions on Iran. In the latest case, last week, the Israeli Navy intercepted the Francop, a vessel carrying five hundred tons of weapons, including thousands of mortar shells and long range rockets believed to be bound for Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israeli officials released photographs of Katyusha rockets seized last week by UNIFIL forces in Lebanon that are the same make as those seized on board the Francop. According to U.S. officials, the arms shipment was "clearly manifested from Iran to Syria" in violation of a March 2007 UN arms embargo and provides "unambiguous evidence of the destabilizing proliferation of arms in the region."

It is high time to back up the tough talk with action. The good news is that there are ways to effectively disrupt Iran's international weapons smuggling. The question is whether the Francop episode will provide the political impetus for the international community to take action. Previous cases of Iranian arms smuggling prompted no such action.

There is even some evidence Iran has exported nuclear tech to Syria.

There is no need to "bomb our way to elimination."
Just set their nuke program back 6 mos to a year.
More talking time for the State Dept.and the Green movement.

Currently the Iran bully has no idea of their limits. An attack would give them some parameters to work with.

The intention is not to bomb their N program out of existence,
But draw a real line, set limits, buy time, and give the bully a black eye
and finally add some consequences to their actions.

The Iranian regime have shown no inclination to be anything
but aggressive and exporters of terrorism.

The Iranian paradigm and actions argue to them exporting nukes to Syria, S. America other client states in middle East.

The current regime exhibits extreme risks for the world if they get Nukes.

What will they act like if they get a Nuclear weapons umbrella.

Iran is acting like an 8th Grade bully,if somebody clocks them it will take some of that bully out of them, and reset their limits.

If Iran gets a nuke, its an 8th grade bully, but one with a Glock.
