USA POWs vid

There are all kinds of things wrong with this in so many levels.

They throw the POW vid in with some other vids?
There is no pic of POWS just ID's.
They say they are dead, but no body pics.

They say they buried two but had put third into river?

The vid camera had no night time enhancement, if this was planned it would have had good night time vid.

The photo of the attack site shows brush right up to the road, attack was at 4:44 am.
This could indicate they took hours to crawl up to the site for the ambush.
The black burnt parts of the road, encompassed the WHOLE humvee, both of them, even under the humvees, and areas surrounding the Humvees.

The troops knew what being taken alive meant from the year before.
It is highly improbable they would surrender given what happened the year before.
More likely they all fought as long as they could, and may have died in the hands of al Qaeda from wounds received.

al Qaeda maybe limiting the photos for fear of a backlash against AQ from the American public, ie they quit public be headings,

Why wait all this time then release only the IDs?
They say more film coming today?

So far there is nothing in the full video
that could not be faked, nothing conclusive.

Was not posted in normal manner, and almost incidental to this vid.
Also they may have just removed dead bodies as all were killed during attack.
There has never been any proof they survived the attack.

This just smells, to many inconsistencies, aberrations and strangeness.

"They (the Islamic State of Iraq) ... announced the news of their killing to cause bitter results upon Allah's enemies, with these three soldiers, from being live prisoners to dead bodies," said a speaker on the video.

"Fearing the occupying army will continue its searches, harming our Muslim brothers ... (the Islamic State in Iraq) decided to settle the matter and announced the news of their killing to cause bitterness to God's enemies."

A voice on the video said that it would not deliver the bodies of the two soldiers, saying "their end will be underneath the ground, Allah willing"

UPDATE: VOI: Bodies of Three Kidnapped Soldiers Found

Babel, May 23, (VOI) - Iraqi police forces in Babel province found on Wednesday two bodies believed to belong to two of the kidnapped U.S. soldiers near al-Furat river in al-Musayab region, 50 km northwest of Hilla, a police source said.

"Two bodies in U.S. uniform were found by Babel police forces near al-Furat river. They bore signs of torture," the source, who asked not to be named, told the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI). "The police handed the bodies to the U.S. army and cordoned off the area," he also said. No comment was available from the U.S. army on the incident. more as story breaks.

This is so wrong, they were worth so much more alive, and AQ has had a year to plan this, someone screwed up big time, it makes no sense.

Just found out: To limit the chance of rumors and information being sent back the United States, AP reports, military bases in the area have been put on an Internet blackout, preventing e-mail messages from being sent from the area.

3 USA POWs should be safe

Even considering what happened to the last two USA troops that were captured, there is reason for hope.

After a careful review of both actions it appears that the last two were captured by accident, and were killed as USA's troops grew near, the killings were then just gut reactions of the terrorists and had no plan of action after capturing the troops.

This time they were much better organized and have had time to think and decide what would be the BEST and HIGHEST use of the USA POWS.

As I mentioned in my last article this was a stagnate position, it was known they would be there without direct over-site.

The time of the attack 4:44 am could suggest a desire for a deserted battlefield.
To attack a fixed position with an IED, and have the Insurgents close enough to to immediately fall on the troops and capture them indicates allot of skill and experience.
I suspect someday we will find Qods hand in this.

Al Qaeda get allot more propaganda out of LIVE USA troops for videos, forced confessions and as bargaining chips in negotiation with USA.

A dead body is good only once for propaganda, while live prisoners are good for a video op over and over again.

They can't negotiate for a dead body but 3 live troops, USA is going to listen, and the propaganda opportunities are unlimited with LIVE troops.

If the USA search does get close they will kill them, and blend in with locals.

This most probably has been months in the planning, its not likely they are even looking in the right place, and USA could search the actual building they are hidden in and not even find them, such are the possibilities of a hidden buried bunker etc.

I would expect the main goal is to use the POWS to get USA to leave Iraq.

They have to be careful not to incite the USA public with some torture video, that just pisses of the entire country.

They are on a very delicate balance, and want to make the most of the POWS.
They know how often radio checks are made, and even how long it takes an emergency reactionary force to commit and arrive, probably even knew where the reactionary team was coming from.

The knew what the USA would do, they have seen it last time, and would probably have allowed for these contingencies.

I think the request is "NOISE" to keep us looking in the wrong place.

They have had a year to think and plan for this, and understand the value of the POWS, it is not likely they will waste this asset by killing them.

There is reason to expect them back alive at some future point.
