My review is based on OSINT relative the the Army's HT effort.

What I have been able to glean indicates the HT effort is based on the Company level.
Which should be minimal staffing.

But could be organized on a wiki to include Battlion level all the way up to Theater level, and
provide a coordinated effort linked to all levels and a past history of paradigms, groups and people.

The work product should include applied anthropology. and metrics.
And demographics on the enemy.

With this Wiki a new HT troops can check what was done in the past and with whom.
Reporting from multiple levels and a consildated effort would be a great force multiplier.

And linked into the Military Blogging efforts and the State departments new efforts in the Info war.

For every heart and mind won, its one less enemy that has to be killed,
A noble endeavor for any anthropologist.

CIA wiki for Spies

The CIA is to launch a social networking site to allow members of the intelligence community around the world to converse and swap ideas and information online.

The A-Space site, set up by the US Director of National Intelligence (DNI), will go live in December.

"This is very typical within the intelligence community of the approach to social networking tools," Mike Wertheimer, the senior DNI official for analytic transformation and technology, wrote in his blog.

"We are willing to experiment in ways that we have never experimented before. It breaks a lot of traditional sense that people's lives are at risk, and how can you take any step that increases that risk?"

The site will have web-based email and a predictive program that matches interests to information.

A-Space will be open only to US agents initially, but the DNI hopes to include agents from other countries as long as they share, rather than just take, information.

"Earlier this year, the CIA used Facebook to advertise employment opportunities with the agency," George Little, a CIA spokesman, told the Financial Times.

"This effort, part of a much broader campaign leveraging traditional and new advertising media, was used strictly for informational purposes."

The DNI has also created an information resource just like Wikipedia for agents to share information.

Guess Which Gov Agency Edits the Most Wiki Pages

Bingo! It's the Pentagon, according to Catherine McRae Hockmuth over at Ares. She describes a program, Wiki Scanner, that tracks anonymous Wikipedia edits:

As much time as DHS employees are spending editing Wikipedia entries [4,018 edits],

their work is nothing compared to the folks at the Department of Defense, whose .mil account holders have been very busy on Wikipedia.

The defense agency with the most edits originating from its .mil address is Army's Network Information Center, with 43,823 edits.

The U.S. Air Forces comes in second with 21,478 edits,

while the Naval Surface Warfare Center has 18, 591. The numbers drop dramatically from there with fourth and fifth place going to the

Pentagon overall and the Office of the Secretary of Defense at 3,355 and 2,685 edits, respectively.

Didn't they?

I see them in my logs often but here they are just reading, on Wiki they edit?

Wouldn't that info be actionable Intel?

They should have been wearing boots.
