Is the Military using black magic against the Terrorist?
Some Taliban and al Qaeda believe in black magic.
Of course Western civilization KNOWS there is no such thing as "magic".
How do they know? ARE THEY RIGHT?

By Scientific Investigation of course. We are trying to investigate something our civilization ontologically denies the existence of. Using our current paradigm we will arrive at only one conclusion. But Western science suggest something else.

I've used semontics (see Tomaselli's book "Appropriating Images" ) to investigate our current anthropological paradigm, looking for areas where it doesn't adhere to it's own standards of clarity or argument within its own ontology.

Magic seems to be one of these cloudy areas. In general we have viewed 'shaman magic' as something that didn't really exist. In that process we missed "healing touch" and the religion/health connection (seen in many recent studies) and the 'mind/body' connection indicated by the placebo effect, which western medicine filters out of the health equation.

We are trying to investigate something our civilization ontologically denies the existence of. Using our current paradigm we will arrive at only one conclusion. However current electronic entertainment would indicate that the nature of man, desires the experience of this liminal phenomena . There maybe an indication in the Western magic shows, i.e. making a 747, or Statue of Liberty disappear, that we still want to believe in magic But in Cartesian scientific logic all "magic" is codified as fiction.

If we use the terms "scientifically unexplainable", then we include Quantum mechanics, some astrophysics and the theories that hold Einstein's "Theory of relativity " together. We are left with no frame of reference . "Scientifically unexplainable", = magic?



Proofs, evidence and premise:



Albert Einstein's equation E=mc 2. Proves that in twentieth century physics nothing can travel faster than light. But Einstein5 (1935) also hypotheses that if he generated 2 particles on earth and sent one 2 million miles away and reversed its polarization in flight the other would also reverse automatically, according to the Laws of "Angular Momentum." This is called, 'Superdetminacy a Classical Quantum Logic'.



How could this message be traveling faster than the speed of light? A puzzling theory. J.S. Bell ' in his theorem (1964 C.E.R.N., Switzerland) using math was able to prove this hypothesis. That energy may travel from one location to another, at superluminal velocities3 .

Allen Aspect 2, in his Ph.D. thesis, was able to prove this faster than light movement in a laboratory experiment, in his famous EPR experiment with pairs of correlated photons4 . An observation performed on one of a separated pair of photons appears to instantaneously cause effect on the other. This effect causes a violation of classical relativity at the sub-atomic level.



So it is possible there maybe a Faster-Than-Light mechanism. Aspect's experiment proved that Bell's Inequality was violated (by violating his Inequality, you show his Theorem is valid). " It's just not knowing what is going on; i.e. whether information was traveling FTL, or whether there was some spooky action at a distance ."...... ( MAGIC )



But Quantum Physics just wrestles with this problem, unsuccessfully, in their current paradigm there is no mention of God or magic, their current theories dissolve into this "Quantum foam". One cannot scientifically investigate something it denies exists in its own ontological Cartesian paradigm. ( There maybe other examples in string theory also. )

If science can not explain it, magic becomes a reasonable hypothesis.

Blackwater to the rescue

Has Blackwater "lost" any clients?
Video of the October 3 rescue of Polish Ambassador Edward Pietrzy show just how risky the maneuver was for the skilled Blackwater helicopter pilot.
It's no small thing to land a helicopter with its spinning rotor blades into a city street. Apart from possible terrorists and insurgents, the real dangers to the crew were the many lightposts and telephone and electrical lines that bordered the landing area.
The Blackwater "Little Bird" is shown landing, with high lamp posts on the right and what appear to be telephone or electrical poles on the left. The lower photo shows phone or electrical wires strung across the street. The slightest pilot error, shift in weight or unexpected wind could have caused havoc with the helicopter and with the people on the ground. The mission, however, was a complete success.

BAGHDAD - Iraqi authorities want the U.S. government to sever all contracts in Iraq with Blackwater USA within six months. They also want the firm to pay $8 million in compensation to families of each of the 17 people killed when its guards sprayed a traffic circle with heavy machine gun fire last month.

The demands - part of an Iraqi government report examined by The Associated Press - also called on U.S. authorities to hand over the Blackwater security agents involved in the Sept. 16 shootings to face possible trial in Iraqi courts.

The tone of the Iraqi report appears to signal further strains between the government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and the White House over the deaths in Nisoor Square - which have prompted a series of U.S. and Iraqi probes and raised questions over the use of private security contractors to guard U.S. diplomats and other officials.

Al-Maliki ordered the investigation by his defense minister and other top security and police officials on Sept. 22. The findings - which were translated from Arabic by AP - mark the most definitive Iraqi positions and contentions about the shootings last month.

The report also highlights the differences in death tolls and accounts that have complicated efforts to piece together the chain of events as one Blackwater-protected convoy raced back toward Baghdad's Green Zone after a nearby bombing, while a second backup team in four gun trucks sped into the square as a backup team.

The Iraqi investigation - first outlined Thursday by The Associated Press - charges the four Blackwater vehicles called to the square began shooting without provocation. Blackwater contends its employees came under fire first.

The government, at the conclusion of its investigation, said 17 Iraqis died. Initial reports put the toll at 11.

It said the compensation - totaling $136 million - was so high "because Blackwater uses employees who disrespect the rights of Iraqi citizens even though they are guests in this country."

The U.S. military pays compensation money to the families of civilians killed in battles or to cover property damage, but at far lower amounts.

The United States has not made conclusive findings about the shooting, though there are multiple investigations under way and Congress has opened inquiries into the role of private security contractors. Last week, the FBI took over a State Department investigation, raising the prospect that it could be referred to the Justice Department for prosecution.

The Iraqi government report said its courts were to proper venue in which to bring charges.

It said Blackwater's license to operate in Iraq expired on June 2, 2006, meaning it had no immunity from prosecution under Iraqi laws set down after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003.

The government report also challenged the claim that a decree in June 2004 by then-Iraqi administrator L. Paul Bremer granted Blackwater immunity from legal action in incidents such as the one in Nisoor Square. The report said the Blackwater guards could be charged under a criminal code from 1969.

USA can't do war with out Blackwater troops.
BW troops are under armored, minimal fire power, under manned.
On call, their job is not to engage except to break contact, not to seek engagement,
Job is to cut and run like hell, motivation is client survival, not war.
There are bad apples, out of the number of operations they run the percentage of engagements is quite small.
