SNOWDEN CONDRUM;How NSA can save their asses

    EDWARD  SNOWDON NSA SysAdmin
    goes rogue.
    He has all the cards.
    NSA is playing catch up.

As SysAdmin he had access to everything.
NSA doesn't know what he took with him
or what he intends to release.

He gave up a luxurious life style, $125,000
a year, great career and pole dancing girl
    friend, living in Hawaii.
All major considerations, he is  very serious.
His biggest concern, fear is nothing will happen.
He plans on releasing secret operations
until there is significant public discussions
about the loss of American rights.

The Government has set precedents for
killing Americans with out trial, judge
jury or any rights guaranteed by the constitution.
Even secret arrests of Americans and detention
with out charges, attorney, judge or jury.
Add to that an Surveillance State and you
    see Snowdon's point.
Internet Anthropologist Think Tank: Obama gets Osama Bin Laden; but he gets ALL

He expects NSA and CIA to fight public
    discussion tooth and nail.
And will dribble out secret ops until he gets
    his public discussions.
The pressure will be ramped up slowly
till the discussions come. Each op more
salacious then the last, hard body blows
    for NSA and CIA.
As sysadmin he has access to everything.
    NSA and CIA's WORST NIGHTMARE.

The sooner these discussion start the more
secrets NSA and CIA will keep.

On the other hand Obama will have already
signed is death warrant if it looks like he might
fall into enemy hands, for reasons of
    National Security.

Russian, FSB and Chinese, MSS have on a full
court press to try and capture him.

Edward is betting his life he knows how
to circumvent NSA and CIA and duck
    FBS and MSS.

He cannot go unpunished others may follow
    suite.

He can limit damages if he halts disclosures
if he gets his public discussions, maybe save
his own life and NSA,CIA save secret ops.

NSA and CIA are not the bad guys, they
    are protecting Americans, their job.
    Question has the Government let
    it go to far.

Since 911 seventeen Americans have been
killed in America in 12 yrs by terrorist.
Are all these extreme methods still needed?
When will Americans get their privacy back?
When will the Constitutional protection be
    reinstated?

What Ed did was illegal, but is the constitutional
    violations any better?
These laws are legal, Congress says so.

The  same Congress that gave BANKSTERS
a free pass for sub-prime,stealing homes
with fraudulent court docs, 472% usury
interest charges and no criminal charges,
the Government bailed them out with our
tax dollars AND gave them $700 billion
    tax write off.
MAY I  SAY "WHAT THE FUCK".

I TRUST OBAMA; but he has set precedent
for ''Mr. Nixon Romney Jr.' to take over
    the Government through legal assassinations
and legal secret rendition, using the surveillance
    state to pick targeted dissents.

Its not out of control yet but it could become
    so and legally done.

    TIME TO DISCUSS THIS.
    The way out for everyone.

    Snowden has made major miscalculations,
China got into Snowdens hard drives and were not impressed with content or Snowden, his spy currency is lacking, Russian assessment concurred, & their cyber forces are behind China's.

Ed picked poor reports, reports of no use or stuff they knew.

They looked at intel on hard drives and China gently lured Ed to Russia the next day.

Russia much the same but taking longer to get rid of Snowden.

Concern: the length of time it took China to get into HDs.

If Ed gave them the pass words
not a problem, if China cracked NSA encryption in one day its problematic.

Snowden has no good options, Russian Airport maybe the best
he can do. And Putin will tire of him.

Neither China or Russia impressed with Snowdens skill levels. No interest in him.

We still maintain Ed's TTC with in weeks. (time to capture)

A document leaked to Univision on Wednesday showed that someone at Ecuador's consulate in London did issue a safe conduct pass for the fugitive on June 22, as he prepared to leave Hong Kong. The name of the consul general, Fidel Narvaez, was printed but not signed.

"Any document of this type has no validity and is the exclusive responsibility of the person who issued it."

Some in the government are believed to be annoyed that Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder who has sheltered at Ecuador's London embassy to avoid extradition, has seized the limelight in the Snowden saga. Assange caught Quito by surprise last week when he announced Snowden had been given a safe conduct pass. Quito replaced its ambassador to London earlier this month in hope of better managing its famous guest.

Correa:"He appears to be weighing the political and public relations benefits against the real consequences for Ecuador's economy, should he grant the asylum request."

The renunciation underlined divisions within Ecuador's government between leftists who have embraced Snowden as an anti-imperialist symbol and centrists who fear diplomatic and economic damage.

DAD Snowden said he is concerned his son is being manipulated by WikiLeaks.

DAD; "I don't want to put him in peril, but I am concerned about those who surround him," he told the network. "I think WikiLeaks, if you've looked at past history, you know, their focus isn't necessarily the Constitution of the United States. It's simply to release as much information as possible."

Cuba is the only country in which Snowden could land safely in a commercial plane without facing extradition but would have to pass through U.S. airspace or that of a U.S. ally whereby it could be forced to land prematurely.

A private jet is considered the best bet for Snowden but it is likely to cost in the region of $200,000 to charter and would need to be of a certain size in order to reach Caracas the long way round without refuelling.

So far, Venezuela has yet to offer to cover the cost of Snowden’s journey, meaning he will have to rely on either a private donor or Wikileaks to stump up the money.

A Gulfstream V jet would be up to the job but it then becomes a question of how many are available in Russia and who would be prepared to face the wrath of America by loaning one to its most wanted man.

torture comment;Greenwald what Snowden meant was that he doesn't know how to get at the files himself, ?? have to think abt that,G

@Geraldanthro It could be m/n encryption - you need m out of n keys to decrypt, he only has one key, greenwald and maybe others have m-1

@daniel_bilar "they' torture him for names of those who have keys, force Ed call &get rest of keys,Is info worth anything if ed cant get it?

no intelligence service – not even our own – has the capacity to compromise the secrets I continue to protect.

NSA's problem isn't vetting, its the complaint dept. Make it friendly or await #Snowden2 Now all complaints go to jail, G

    9:25 AM
    Blogger gerald said...

Snowden used m-n encryption on all his hard drives, kind of like multiple passwords to open files, which means Ed himself can't open the files by himself, And using NSA's top flight encryption neither China nor Russia can open files, of course they surreptitiously made copies for their code breakers to work on, NSA knows it would take decades to decode the files.
This make lots of sense and explains why neither China or Russia have any interest in Ed
He can't open the files himself, he has to call on others for the other sections of password.

And as Ed can't open the files their isn't much interest in him, except politically, and may be more trouble than he is worth politically.

Ed as SysAdmin saw the files, programs but did not use them.

He has no idea of safe guards built into them or legal requirements to activate them.

Its like reading the space shuttle instruction book, I have one, but that doesn't mean I can
    fly it to the moon.

Ed is making alot of assumptions about programs he has never actually used.

It doesn't mead Ed is wrong about NSA's capabilities, it means he can't be certain.
