Paki gearing up for something.
Paradigm Intel:
Paki gearing up for something.
Our sources and news reports point to a paradigm shift
in Pakistan.
Things are suddenly very tense and stone-faced in Pakistan.
Today Pak intelligence sent a report to the interior minister, advising all foreigners living in Pakistan as well as several government officials to restrict their movement. Seems they have captured a number of suicide bombers in the last few days and many more are on the loose.
Afghanistan has closed down 20 foreign aid groups and charities working in the country for failing to provide reports on their work and finances, the government said on Tuesday,
A government-backed commission decided that alongside 152 Afghan non-governmental organisations (NGOs), the groups should be dissolved with immediate effect, the Ministry of Economy said, adding they would be allowed to appeal the commission's decision.
Paki claims they haven't captured Mullah Omar.
http://thecable.foreignpolicy. com/posts/2010/05/11/ pakistani_official_no_we_ didnt_capture_mullah_omar
....some chatter that the Taliban has some sort of internal feud and can't find Omar to settle it.
Kawaja filed the motion to stop Baradar from being extradited to Afghanistan. That motion, BTW, was quietly dismissed yesterday. Either Omar was unavailable, or there is a serious breach in the cooperation between Afghan and Pak Taliban and possibly Omar is no longer overall leader.
Pakistan is a gossip festival, government officials, reports, everyone. Nothing stays secret for long. What is odd is that usually, a speculative report like Omar's capture is played up in the press and at least scoffed at, with this minister or that getting some press. Witness the loose talk every time some one claims to know where Bin Laden is. Not this story, dead silence in all the papers and reporters, even the anti-government snoops. Just no mention of Mullah Omar in any way.
The Punjabi Tigers (that killed Kwaja) just handed over the kidnapped Colonel Imam and British journalist Asad Qureshi to the Haqqani's. They were captured with Khwaja on March 26..
I'm told that Mullah Omar played a critical role in their release.
EX-ISI man's body found Mar, 30.
Omar sent Jirga to negotiate release second ISI man on
Sat. May 1st. SOURCE:
If he was in custody he couldn't send Jirga.
Brad Thor said: We have known since the end
of March and we had it confirmed ten days ago
by the Pakistanis.
Time lines don't fit, neither does Paki response make
sense.
Russian sources say there are 40 training camps on
Afpak border.
Expect action in N. Waziristan, safe haven of the
two Talibans and al Qaeda
4 hellfire missiles at one truck in N Waziristan,
Biggest drone attack to date.
Taliban leadership loosing control.
Recent visit to DC
Afghanistan president to meet Barack Obama for talks
With huge entourage of ministers.
Pure speculation:
They are trying to turn Omar, his freedom for Bin Laden's body?
Which could almost get USA out of Afpak.
Pentagon has zip on the Omar capture thing.
Paki are buttoning every thing down before they announce his capture?
And all hell breaks loose.
Death of Khalid Khawaja, capture of Omar, ISI Retaliation for his death.?
Paki forces are bargaining for huge ransom for Omar.
It seems USA out of loop on this, our BSU's tracking lots
of activity US trying to button down story.
Brad Thor wanted more press.
Brad Thor set up and lied to, effort to damage his rep.
Paranoia has leaked into Paradigm engine.
Many of the pieces there, unable to fit them together at
this time, paradigm engine cranking, no solution yet.
Many ambiguities.
