US drones fired a barrage of 10 missiles into a compound in Pakistan's lawless northwestern tribal belt early Tuesday, killing four militants, security officials said.

The strike hit the Lawara Mandi area, close to the border with Afghanistan in Pakistan's North Waziristan district, which has become a bastion of Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked militants.
"Five US drones fired 10 missiles, killing four militants. They targeted a compound and vehicles parked outside the house," one senior Pakistani security official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

Our sources place number of missiles at 18 and 8 UAV's, one of the biggest strikes ever. Anticipate HVT death. HVT target was Maulvi Sadiq Noor, deputy to Gul Bahadur,  death unknown. Other Russian source reports 40 training camps along border. They fired 4 hellfires at one truck with 4 men in it, HVT.
