Al Qaeda trying to reboot in Iraq

Al Bolani: Al Qaeda unable to reboot in Iraq

    Monday, March 16, 2009 08:28 GMT
Months before US Forces withdrawal from Iraq, optimism is high as to the readiness of Iraqi security forces to take control of the country’s security without putting at risk military achievements. Interior Minister Jawad Al Bolani reflected optimism saying that Al Qaeda is desperately trying to renew terrorism but is unable to face security forces.
In confirmation to the fact that the security situation is ready for change, Al Bolani announced that military clampdowns around the country have come to an end.
According to Al Bolani, Iraq is stepping towards a new stage of rebuild, reconstruction and investments.
Hopes are high that coming security achievements would reflect positively on the country.
