World Bank Under Cyber Siege: Russia?

    Compromised servers:

    World Bank Under Cyber Siege

Looks like the World Bank has been compromised.
Intruders has access to all data.

In plainspeak: "They had access to everything," says the source. "They had the keys to every room at the bank. And we can't say whether they still do or don't until we fully and openly address what's happening here."

FBI ( September, 2007) gathered info on seperate case leading to a suspected breach of the Banks Security systems.

This is not the work of a uber hacker, but an inside job,
a plant inside Satyam, may have planted the cyber backdoor, keystroke logging to capture security admins passwords.

Paradigm intel suggests this was the work of a state actor.
The MO points to the Russian Business network, and the Russian FBS as the end user.
The volume of data collected points to a huge operation,
they even devised a system to reorganize the data into a useable form.
And the data stolen puts Russia in a prime position to profit from the information, and provides a heads up on
    the World Bank fraud investigations.

After a forensic analysis of the treasury breach, bank investigators discovered that spy software was covertly installed on workstations inside the bank's Washington headquarters — allegedly by one or more contractors from Satyam Computer Services, one of India's largest IT companies.

Satyam — one of the largest and most prestigious IT companies in India — is publicly listed on the NYSE and boasts having $2 billion in sales and more than 150 Fortune 500 companies as clients. In 2003, Satyam — it means "truth" in Sanskrit — won a much-heralded and lucrative five-year "sole source" contract to design, write and maintain all of the World Bank's information systems.

The contract — which began at $10 million and grew to more than $100 million by 2007 — was suddenly not renewed this year. Satyam so far declines to comment.

Johannesburg is one of several secret "hubs" containing a "common data store" (or CDS)
The second major breach — of the bank's treasury network in Washington — was discovered in April 2008.
It took ten days for bank officials to detect that they'd been invaded.

Other clients of Satyam need to do a thoughour cyber check.

This information is worth billions of dollars, the insider info will allow the criminals to profit from Insider trading, knowing what the bank is going to do, and where and what projects they have on the board.

And this fits in with Russia's new aggressive "Becoming a World Power, again " Paradigm.
    Quotes excerpted from here:

    Series 7 & 13.
If during the Investigation witnesses and leads start dying
then we know its the FBS, Russia.

Note there is no one to call in for help, there are no cops on the Internet.
They have to rely on Civilians to come in and track this down,
Where are the USA cyber cops, there are none, FBI does some, Secret Service does some,
lots of Gov Agencys "do some" but the cyber domain is unpoliced.
    Who ya gona call?

Defenseless, piece meal, wide open, USA peers on the Internet are are not the Russian, or Chinese, they are generations ahead.

USA doesnot have the capability of the Russins or Chinese, and they won't until they
embrace the civilian element, and convert some of the Cyber Criminals.

USA military still fear the Internet, and most US Intelligence agencys do too.
They are not thinking outside the box, and not using the KEYS they have access to,
not even looking in that direction from my Intel reports.

    G
Paradigm Intel suggest IMF has been penetrated also.
