Off subject: FIRE FOX eating dirt
Source: WikipediaWhile fire fix when it is working is one of the best browsers available.
their beta testing of new releases is abysmal, quality control is almost non-existant.
The newest release 2.o.o.13 fixes some security problems and disables sound in videos.
This isn't the first time they have had problems with this issue.
The broser has stability problems and tends to self corrupt over time leading to the white snow page.
I can have 20% cpu, physical mem at 50 to 70% : all resources in good ranges, and FF
is in a fight with its self, trying to resolve some secret internal conflict, and goes ghost white, and crashes.
I can handle that it runs good for around 24 to 36 hours.
But this disabling of sound is rank amateurishness..
Simple thorough beta testing would disclose the problem.
This damages FF mozillas reputation and brings into question their professionalism.
Gerald
I pay good money for this program: NO wait its free, hmmm
OK this time only I forgive FF.
