    Ahmadinejad non-verbals, body language

    Two items :
Is Farsi a very wet language?
Twice Ahmadinejad wipes the spittle off his mouth and flicks it on the floor.
I missed it the first two times I watched the University video, it like you want
to look away from politeness, but HE does it.

    AND:

After his speech his posture and the hidden profile with the hand slightly raised
as if asking for a handshake and his other hand on his hip to show impatience, waiting for
someone to shake his hand, and staring at his target, it seems obvious to me.

SO HIS HANDLERS TAUGHT HIM THE IMPORTANCE OF SHAKING HANDS even the body language to say come and shake my hand.

BUT his handlers were not able to tell Ahmadinejad not to wipe his mouth and flick it on the floor. Hoping USA would do the politically correct thing and not say anything.
But you had an anthropologist watching.

Very sharp presentation, but missed details, USA doesn't fear what Ahmadinejad has to say
they fear Muslims won't hear the USA's answer.

I was a Texas high school administrator just before Khomeini returned to Iran from exile and we had approximately forty Iranian students (almost equally divided between pro Shah and anti Shah [but that is another story]) whose relatives were enrolled in our local university's oil and gas production program. One of the major complaints form our teachers was the blatant cheating by the Iranian students. I asked one student I believed to be trustworthy about the cheating and was told, in their culture, it was not unethical to lie, cheat, or deceive an "unbeliever."
