There was an earlier raid 9/1/08 up in Bajaur after Z & wife & family. That raid is still confidential as we are still debriefing and extracting some of the team.

We have a lot of SOF and SF teams out and they are all very busy so there are multiple raids in planning at all time. SF teams we can generally report on results. SOF teams use TF and TA (infil/exfil) platforms and are much more complex and need more follow-on and assessment security. So I wait for my sources to clear the mission status first

This was a (infil/exfil) Special Operations Force op, not Special Forces. Terrain Following, Terrain Avoidance, MC-130 Combat Talons and MH-53J Pave Low III, from Air Force Special Operations Command. Full prejudice ROE, we went in shooting, op is labeled "successful".
