    Qasim Toori, CAPTURED:

A senior member of the al-Qaida-linked Sunni Muslim extremist group Jundullah (Army of God), Qasim Toori, was captured following a shoot-out between militants and security forces in Karachi in Pakistan's southern Sindh Province yesterday. Earlier reports had stated that he had been killed. Toori had allegedly been planning a major attack in the city, as evinced by the discovery of a cache of weapons. Toori, a former policeman, was wanted for an assassination attempt on a senior army general in Karachi in June 2004, which claimed the lives of 11 people, including seven soldiers, as well as two car bomb explosions outside the privately run Pakistan American Cultural Center, which killed one person and injured more than 30 the previous month

Meanwhile, Pakistani police in the southern port city of Karachi
have clarified that Qasim Toori, who was reported to have been
killed in five-hour shootout between militants and security forces
on Tuesday, is in fact not dead.

Police say he is only injured and is in their custody. He was said
to be dead in an effort to catch his whole network, which is
believed to be the main financial artery for Mehsud's network.

Thus, Mehsud, with his financial sources curtailed and becoming
increasingly isolated, could be the big loser from Libi's death.

The article reminded me of the story of the two men in a Taxi cab, one complains the driver isn't a good driver, and the other says he is doing good considering he is having an heart attack.

Once the Taliban and al Qaeda have been killed, captured surrender then the rest can be fixed.

Right now the terrorist are threating Paki its self.

After we stop the bleeding then we can address the issues of the corruption etc.

First make sure the patient lives, then the personalty can be fixed.

    Musharraf is a known quanity.

Mehsud sent men to work at security firms, rob financial institutions

Qasim Toori used to hire cars (usually XLI) from a car rental outlet,

Toori had close links with Mehsud. The former had been in Karachi for the past three years
