So who s looking out for the tax payer?
Not the Federal Reserve, they have given away trillions of dollars with around 7 trillion dollarst with out strings.
Not Congress they bailed out Financial Cos to the tune of almost a Trillion dollars.
And only asked for some control and over sight on the auto industry.

So whom is looking out for the Tax payer, to the tune of seven Trillion dollars?

Surprise:

Its the FBI,

WASHINGTON, Feb 11 (Reuters) - The FBI's caseload of fraud investigations into major corporations and banks could climb from 38 into the hundreds as the economic crisis deepens, a bureau official told Congress on Wednesday.t

U.S. officials also told a Senate hearing several criminal investigations related to the $700 billion federal bailout program were already in progress.....

FBI raided lobbying firm linked to Murtha -- WSJ

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation has raided a defense-related lobbying firm with ties to Rep. John Murtha, D-Penn., according to a report late Tuesday in the online edition of The Wall Street Journal. Arlington, Va.-based PMA Group turned over materials to FBI agents who arrived at its offices in November, according to the report. PMA Group was founded by a former top aide on a defense appropriations subcommittee chaired by Murtha, the report said. A Murtha spokesman quoted in the report said the congressman is not under investigation, adding that, "no one is suggesting that Jack Murtha has anything to do with this, period." PMA Group is one of three firms linked to Murtha that have been raided in the past three months, according to the Journal report

Although the FBI is not my favorite Federal agency I have to admit a growing admiration for their Intestinal fortitude.

In view of the poor record of other federal agencies, SEC, Congress, Federal Reserve, the FBI is setting an exemplary example.

In the past the FBI has been way behind in Internet methods of investigation,

my sources tell me they are making up for lost time and distinguishing them selves

in WWW investigations.

I seldom gush, but I am most impressed with the FBI's integrity and going after

the Banks and Lobbyists.

The tax payer may have a shinning knight in this financial mess after all.
