This morning during a Pentagon teleconference, Army Major General Kevin Bergner trumpeted recent "successes" against insurgents and terrorists in Iraq, including last month's targeting of the man allegedly responsible for the massive August bombing that killed 400 members of the Yazidi sect. "Abu Yaqub al-Masri was killed when coalition forces conducted operations to detain him on 31 August west of Tarmiyah," Bergner said in a follow-up email.
THEY ARE NOW ON THE THIRD OR FOURTH STRING PLAYERS, less and less experienced leaders.
