Moderate Muslim media failing media war

The State of Kuwait regretted on Tuesday that some governments tie Islam to terrorism and issue laws to combat terrorism and create unjustified fears for the Muslims. This came in a speech by Kuwaiti diplomat Salah Hamdan Al-Seif before the UN General Assembly’s Social Committee, which was discussing the item on “extermination on racism and racial discrimination”. He said that he is following up with regret the move by some governments to link Islam with terrorism.( a terrorist objective ) By this action these governments ignore 1,400 years of creative legislation and human accomplishments and focus on terrorist acts fomented by a limited group rejected by the Islamic and Arab societies in general.

It's all too easy to buy into the Islamo Facsist rhetoric/claim of a great clash of civilisations, especially when they are attacking Governments and people world wide.

But Islam is not protesting the facsist claim effectively, Muslim media is failing in the media war against Islamo Facsist rhetoric or people and Governments would not buy into "clash of civilisations" propaganda.

The terrorists are stealing 1,400 years of creative Muslim legislation and human accomplishments and focusing the world on a terrorist political war in the name of false Islam.

When Muslims speak up against extremism and correct the skewed world-view of the terrorists, it is much more powerful, much harder to dismiss than when those same words are spoken by an outsider.

The Muslim communities did not ask the terrorists to act in their name. The vast majority are sickened by the slur on their great and noble faith. But they must act, speak out, make a call, whisper to bring these terrorist down in the name of Allah.
