could US win Afghan war

Answer is YES, they have done it before.
US changed its 'war paradigm'.
The new paradigm is more humanitarian
and less successful and more expensive.

The old paradigm used in WWII was
very effective but with high civilian deaths.
In both Germany and Japan, the goal
was to bomb the people into submission.
Take out civilian centers, fire bomb cities.

There were virtually NO subversives
from the civilian populations, they just
wanted the war to end.

The new paradigm tries to protect
civilians rather than target them.
While there are fewer deaths there
is more will to support the insurgents.
And the Taliban is able to refill its ranks
even though US has taken out 1,600
mid-level leaders.

In Germany towards the end there were
no civilians willing to refill the Nazi ranks,
they just wanted the war to end.

In an all out war against a country and
its people info wars don't really play a
part, dead bodies and destruction do
all the speaking.

This paradigm change maybe a sign
of human species maturing?
Giving up the efficiency of total death and
destruction for a more targeted less efficient
system.

Its interesting no one has appreciated the growth,
paradigm shift.

Remember the Davis affair?

The alleged CIA man who shot
two assailants?

Well it turns out the two men
he killed were ISI agents.
Faizan Haider, 21, and
Muhammad Faheem, 19, were
used to intimidating Paks, roughing
up Pak reporters. Were used as
universal thugs.

Their job they day they died was
to intimidate even rough up a CIA
agent, put the fear of the ISI into
the company man.

in front of his car and Davis braked
for them, not knowing who they were

away, the assailant turned to fire and Davis
killed him.

and the ISI was always trying to keep

and who they were meeting. But the CIA
was too good for even ISI.

So they decided to try and scare some of
the CIA agents off, get them to pull in their
horns. But it didn't work.

ISI and the Pakistan Military while playing
the Great Game were getting played by the
CIA, playing right through the ISI.

Even while pretending like the Pakistan
Mil and ISI were ally's the CIA was to work
around them and get intel the CIA wanted.

Davis could be released, more was actually
paid, and the families had to kick back about
half to ISI.

We have been engaging in a heavy info war
on several fronts, on our blog and on twitter.
The metrics for success in the info war
are involved and difficult.

But by all measures we were doing a fine job.
And our enemy confirmed it with the highest
tribute we could conceive.

One of our front line computers was hacked.
The objective of the hack is the badge of
distinction.

They changed all passwords for all user accounts,
and blocked safe boot.

The objective was to cut us off from the WWW.
To stop our info wars, block us from communicating.

We were able to track the time of the penetration
and get a "time finger print" of the attacking PC.

And deployed BSU's the hackers did not use Invisible
persistent threat, and we were able to clean it
up, and now their PC is attacking their friends.
And the methods are traceable back to his PC.

Their "friends" will deal with them for the attacks.

When I saw what they had done, with some expertise
I could feel my head and heart swell, I was so proud
of our work, staff and activities, and this was concrete
proof of our triumph, and accomplishments.

This was a milestone of sorts for us, and I celebrated
with some time off as a reward I turned off the PC
and phone for 3 weeks and just floated on the level
of our achievement. I was giddy, I'm not likely to
ever get a higher tribute.

The MS OS isn't secure even with 10,000 patches,
its a joke.

But using a VPN maybe we can get some security.
So if we can't keep them off, can we keep contents
encrypted? Maybe if we can keep keyloggers from
reading our PW as we type them.

If we can defeat keyloggers can we keep our encrypted
hard drives secret? Maybe.

the data? I think there is a better chance defending the data

For Veterans day I've taken a short sabbatical.

Reviewing our paradigm, hows its changed and

where its going.

We were doing a million hits a year, and expanding.

A nice public podium. Google has throttled our

hits, I'm sure Google corporate doesn't know.

Some Google employees have the authority to

tweak the algorithms for individual blogs, apparently

with no or very little supervision.

So we changed our paradigm, from the masses to

centers of influence. Some times a single person.

Our focus has always been how to bring about change.

Our actions run from direct conflict, sub-rosa ops,

psy ops, political and Government influence.

Social Change Engines we have been experimenting

with for 15 yrs. And they are very good and effective.

We also have a great roll of informants through active

recruitment on Twitter.

So until Google wakes up to what is going on, we have

changed our game plan, and have increased effectiveness

With US providing air cover there isn't much chance
of shooting down a drone.

Afghan and Pak have to limit terrorist attacks in CONUS
or they invite an invasion, ie Afghan.

Bottom line is US will not tolerate terrorist attacks in USA.
And will commit its full military forces to prevent it.

But with US no longer forced to use Pak for force resupply

Wall St Banks got Standard & Poors to rate low grade

But I think a method of encryption by hard ware may stand a chance.

If we can't keep them off our PCs can we keep the data a secret,
encrypted?
But "they" can still get screen shots or even movies of your PC
screen. Whe n you de-crypt to read your work "They" can see it,
or a keylogger pick up everything you input.
Security programs are subject to hacker attacks, just change the
code. One operation involved getting into a password protected
site. We were able to spot the part of the program that changed
when a password was entered, back to what it was when there
was no password, cut and paste, the program then functioned
like there was no passwords, and opened right up.

Hardware is HARD, no code to change.

The method McAfee is using would allow for all of this.

The Green movement used to in the very beginning be flowering into change. but as its leaders backed away and as Moussavi officially announced under pressure from Khamenei , that he too does not agree with total change but only reform in the laws! ,young enthusiastic followers (mainly students and University academics, such as my own friends) received an unexpeced blow.

As i explained before, the "green" movement was only a banner under which they could come out on to the streets! since they thought at least the regime will not chop its own hands! .

It was encouraged practically by our opposition movement too till they got pushed out of action by the Mullahs on the top (Khamnei)

The so called house arrest of Moussavi and his other partner is again another gateway for the green saying that they are tight handed now and cannot participate in other protests as much as before.

But the resistance keep going on. Students and other sectors are protesting any way, but since it does not have the "banner" it is less projected outside . and also the Iranians out of Iran too, they , some of them are real activists , others only feel active when they are not at risk or even when they have "free" time to spare to be active ! This is not bad perss it is a plot against Camp Ashraf.
It is a long time that there are behind the scene negotiations to discretely wipe all of those human beings off the place. The war on drugs is a failure.
Its the biggest funding source for
many terrorists, several drug cartels
are fighting for national domination
threatening legitimate Governments.

Mexico.
is proof of concept.

The more successful the war on drugs is,
the higher it drives prices.
Its supply and demand.
If they take a really huge shipment of drugs
off the streets, the price of the drugs will also
rise.

In Afghan a Kilo of heroin costs $350 purchased
in Afghan..
Same Kilo in NYC sells for $70,000.
Thats a HELL of a profit motive turn

The key lies in what is malware-virus
and what are your programs.

Malware-virus have choice tidbits in them
that are illegal, and anti-virus recognizes
those bits as naughty.

But how does your security program know
whats bad and whats good?

There in lies the key.

If its a MicroSoft program its good, right.
Well its not doing anything illegal, but it
can still be used for illegal purposes.
And NO security program will ever tag it as
malware-virus EVEN though it can be used
as malware.

Lets go on a Recon:
We use malware to gain access to a PC,
we dump a file and erase the malware-virus.

The file sets up a string to run every time
the PC is booted,

It turns on MS Movie maker.exe in the background.
It takes a photo every 1 min or hr of your PC
screen, then, maybe it makes a FTP connection
using your software and sends the picture-movie
file to another PC. Keep activity low enough
to run in background without notice, not slow PC
down.

No security program will ever identify the programs
used as malware, its INVISIBLE, none of its bits
will set off any alarm.

And for all tech intents and purposes its an
"Invisible persistent Threat". Because its a regular
program with instructions, no virus, malware sig. which
runs other MS software.

Ok now lets look at this paradigm in operation.
MicroSoft has a searchindexer.exe program on everyones
copmuter, to make it easier for you to find things
on your PC, it searches your whole PC and indexes
everything.
And MS doesn't want you to turn it off, kill the process
and it just starts backup. There is NO turn off switch.

What if MicroSoft asked to add a Host to the search indexer?
And connected to the World Wide Web. They didn't

ask they just did it.

a dump of both files was confusing and alarming.

This is quite a paradigm but it fits well.

Its accepted OBL couldn't have been living on the
Military base or very near it without some Pakistan
Military assistance, the question becomes who and
at what level.

The State Dept. has concluded upper level Mil and
Civilian Gov. did not know about OBL. I suspect
more as a facing saving devise for Pakistan.

My motive here is to present a hypothesis which
makes Pakistan more transparent and accountable
on the World stage.

I don't mention the State Dept often enough.
Hillary and the State Department have done
an outstanding job, in impossible conditions
and irrational circumstances.

The most likely escape was to Sabha last Thursday, 18 August, or Friday, 19 August and he may have taken up to $5 billion with him. The Sabha Air Base south of the city offers him a flight out, with all the gold, beyond the easy range of NATO. From there he can launch a destabilizing guerrilla campaign himself and control over southern Libya.

Less likely:

His hometown and current stronghold of Sirte for a last stand with all his Scuds. Qaddafi has better options and knows his narrative ends there.

Ghadames oasis SW of Tripoli then off to Algeria, sheltered by supporters of his old friend Ben Ali. Not all that likely as Qaddafi would then be in exile and he sees himself as a Libyan or dead.
