Ahmadinejad tells Obama to 'piss off'

Ahmadinejad tells Obama to 'piss off'

    September 7, 2:50 PM
During an official press conference, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared, "From our point of view, Iran’s nuclear issue is over. We continue our work within the framework of global regulations and in close interaction with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). We will never negotiate over obvious rights of the Iranian nation." This statement came as questions were asked regarding Iran’s nuclear program and the deadline set by the United States for Iran to accept the offer to talks with six world powers and to trade incentives should Iran suspend it uranium enrichment activities. Ahmadinejad stated defiantly that Iran will never halt its uranium enrichment program nor will it compromise its right to do so.

At present, it appears as though the American offer to talk about Iran’s nuclear efforts and intentions, under threats of harsher sanctions, has resulted in absolutely no progress for the United States and an enhanced Iranian defiance. Some speculate that Iran will not come to the table until after a significant portion of its processing capability has been destroyed by a military action. The Obama Administration has made it clear, through gesture and deed, that military strikes against key Iranian facilities are out of the plan for the United States.

"Local media quoted Ahmadinejad as saying in Mashhad on Sunday that US policies in South America are "doomed to be defeated."

"Industrial, economic, banking and transportation cooperation between the two nations should increase along with political cooperation," Khamenei told Chavez.

"By boosting cooperation between them, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Venezuela can consolidate the newly-formed independence front," the leader said.

Venezuela is to supply fuel-starved Iran with 20,000 barrels of petrol a day, President Hugo Chavez said on Sunday at the end of a two-day visit to the Islamic republic during which deals were also inked on medicine and commerce.

"Venezuela has agreed to export 20,000 barrels of petrol daily to Iran from October in a deal worth 800 million dollars," Chavez told reporters in the northeastern city of Mashhad, local media reported.

He gave no indication of the duration of the agreement.

"This amount will be deposited in a fund established in Iran and will be used to finance purchase of machinery and technology from Iran," Chavez added.

Venezuela to export gasoline to Iran= BS, G

Venezuela to export gasoline to Iran
    Sun, 06 Sep 2009 22:27:33 GMT

Amid US efforts to cut off Iran's fuel supplies, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez says his country is to provide Tehran with 20,000 barrels of gasoline per day.
( Venezuela is offering less than 1/20 of what Iran needs, 5%.G )

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    IRAN:

The daily gasoline consumption ( in 2007 ) is reaching 80 million liters a day (more than 21 million gallons a day). ( They import 40% of the 21 mil gal a day. Or 840,000 gal a day, from Venezuela. G )

    42 gallons to barrel, (i.e. 1 Barrel = 159 litres)
    42 gal X 20,000 bbls =840,000 gals.

    159 liters x 20,000 barrels = 3,180,000 liters a day.

    or 1,160,700,000 liters a year.

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Reuters: Venezuela's gasoline exports have halved in four years, OPEC data shows, as growing domestic demand and persistent problems with refineries threaten to make South America's top crude producer a net importer of the fuel.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries' annual statistical bulletin shows that Venezuela exported an average of 22,000 barrels per day in 2008

"Venezuela will turn into a net
    importer of gasoline within the
next few years," economist Abelardo Daza, of Venezuela's IESA higher education institute, said Thursday. Daza said that reduced car sales and a slower growth in the demand for gasoline in 2008 saved the country from importing the fuel last year but warned exports would soon dry up if the subsidy is not lifted.

Venezuela heavily subsidizes gasoline at the pump and drivers enjoy some of the world's cheapest fuel. Rapid economic growth and booming car sales in the last few years pushed gasoline consumption up by 23.4% between 2004 and 2008. Production rose just 10% in the same period. In 2008, Venezuela produced 309,300 barrels per day of gasoline, said the OPEC report published last week.

    SOURCE:

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Venezuelan gasoline is the cheapest in the world, at four cents of a dollar per litre (and even cheaper at the "permuta" exchange rate). The gap between the domestic sale price and international prices means the state loses income of between eight billion and 12 billion dollars a year. ....

Oil brought in 90 billion dollars of revenue for Venezuela in 2008, 52 billion of which was earned in the first half of the year, when prices were soaring. But in the first half of this year, oil income was barely 22.8 billion dollars.

Chávez boasted in January that Venezuela was "armoured against the crisis." "Even if the price of our oil plunges to zero dollars, this revolution will not stop," he said. In March, Energy Minister Rafael Ramírez said that "we can carry on working, even with zero oil income, because we have saved 57 billion dollars in reserves."

( Iran is looking to steal some of the $57 billion and Chávez is looking for a way to turn a few billion into his personal pocket, somebody is going to get screwed. Have they seen the RESET in
    Honduras? G )

    SOURCE:

    Its all BS

Venezuela is going to switch 100% of their Gasoline exports to Iran?

At current oil prices Venezuela has reserve funds to go one or two years,

    Then its a bare cuboard.

Chávez will run that country right into the Ground.

Anybody see how they can export 22,000 bbl a day to Iran long term? Comment?

    Our Recon team's update:

    CARACAS, Sept 1 (Reuters) -
    Venezuela's state oil company
    PDVSA has been progressively
    selling off "nonessential"
    assets belonging to its U.S.
    refining unit Citgo.
     A draft of Citgo's 2008

     In 2006, Citgo began its
    sell-off with the sale of

    The con starts now:
It said state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA) would invest $760 million in the development of phase 12 of Iran's giant South Pars natural gas field in the Gulf."Based on the agreement, Iran also pledged to invest $760 million in the development of Venezuelan oil field Dobokubi as well as the development of Block 7 of the Ayacucho oil field," SHANA said.

Ha HAA lolNow how does this work?Venezuela actually invests $760 million of Venezuela's 52 billioncash reserve into Iran, and "based on the agreement" Iraninvests $760 million in Venezuela, when, from where? This smells like 'Book entry' accounting, no money exchangedits a wash. Good PR.Or maybe the money does go to Iran as a bribe for the nuketech, and a cash bonus for Chavez, as he sells Venezula to the Iranians for nukes. G

    N. Korea nuke weapon
    admission puts US on notice

    By Shaun Tandon, Agence France-Presse

    WASHINGTON, D.C.:
In admitting to uranium enrichment after years of denial, North Korea is putting the United States on notice that it will do whatever it takes to keep its nuclear program, analysts say.

Pyongyang said Friday it was in the final stage of enriching uranium—a second way to make nuclear bombs besides its known plutonium program. It marked a sharp change of tone after a month of easing tensions.

NYT reporter abducted, civilians hang w/Taliban

Which is the civilian of the Three above?
    You ride with the Taliban,
    you die with the Taliban.
    STAY AWAY FROM THE TALIBAN.

Kunduz, Afghanistan - A New York Times journalist visiting the site of the deadly NATO airstrike in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz was kidnapped along with his Afghan interpreter on Saturday, the provincial governor said.

The journalist, who went to talk to villagers in Omarkhel village in the Chardarah district was kidnapped by Taliban militants, Mohammad Omar, the provincial governor, told the German Press Agency dpa.

A NATO airstrike on Friday exploded two fuel tankers that had been hijacked by the Taliban,

    ( AND THE DRIVERS BEHEADED G )

In explaining the civilian deaths, military officials speculated that local people were conscripted by the Taliban to unload the fuel from the tankers, which were stuck near a river several miles from the nearest villages.

ecently, Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, the top American and NATO commander here, severely restricted the use of airstrikes, arguing that America risked losing the war if it did not reduce civilian casualties.

Underscoring his concern, on Friday he recorded a video message, translated into Dari and Pashto, to be released to Afghan news organizations.

The general began by greeting “the great people of Afghanistan, salaam aleikum.”

“As commander of the International Security Assistance Force, nothing is more important than the safety and protection of the Afghan people,” General McChrystal said in the brief message. “I take this possible loss of life or injury to innocent Afghans very seriously.”

General McChrystal said he had ordered the investigation “into the reasons and results of this attack, which I will share with the Afghan people.”

The Taliban invite you to come and get FREE FUEL, stolen from the Americans. If you go to get the stolen fuel form the Taliban you assume certain risks.

You know the drones attack the Taliban, just being physically near the Taliban you assume certain risks.

While I grieve the loss of any civilians they assume some of the risks associated with the Taliban, even when collecting stolen fuel from tankers; stolen, guarded and controlled by the Taliban.

Some were even warned by family members not to go. "defied his father’s orders". and went to get the stolen fuel.

They know the risks, then they also have some responsibility for their actions and the consequences for their actions.
